Familiar music always reminds us of many familiar memories. But time flies by so quickly; this day is about to slip away, just around the corner. Dreams, flowers, people, everything will gently settle around us. When the dust settles, what will you leave behind? And what will remain in our hearts?
The sky is like a silent movie. I love looking up at the sky during the day, walking along the road in the dazzling sunlight. At night, I also love looking up at the sky, because even if I can’t see the stars, it gives me a sense of hope and a sense of height.
Often, I habitually point my camera at the sky. The scene unfolds like a silent film. From the window of an apartment building, clouds drift swiftly, light and shadow shift, like someone sitting in a movie theater, seeing tiny specks of dust in the beam of light shining from behind. A sense of emptiness washes over me. Even the slightest tremor blurs the image, and sometimes this hazy, indistinct scene brings me joy for a longer time. Sometimes flocks of birds fly by, kites soar, sometimes airplanes roar. The city expands, the sky shrinks; perhaps then, a 180-degree upward tilt will be needed to reach the place we yearn to gaze upon.
The sky is a silent movie, without sound or image. Although we can’t see anything, it keeps playing in our hearts. The scene is incredibly clear, incredibly intimate, and incredibly sweet. What a sweet and memorable movie it is!
We have replayed those memories countless times in our hearts, accompanied by countless reminiscences. They are beautiful memories, but they are in the deepest part of our hearts, in our own private world, unseen by others. Only we ourselves can clearly see those sounds and images!
Life is like a movie.
Perhaps it’s more of a sweet hardship.
There is no third option.
Some, however, consist of elements other than points and lines.
I think the point is the destination.
And the line, it’s a line leading to the finish line!
